One of the many reasons I've opened this page is to speak about my upcoming novel called: "Courteous to the Alien".
“Courteous to the Alien” is the tale of a misguided "average" man named Chris. Already maladjusted to society and set on a self-destructive path, Chris is thrust into a surreal situation when he develops relationships with extraterrestrial beings. This sets the scene for strange and amusing situations, vivid visualizations of chemically induced altered states of mind.. Chris slowly loses his grasp on reality. Chris further embraces the unknown by falling in love with a beautiful extraterrestrial named Soornah-a. Chris becomes increasingly consumed by his chemical interactions with Sven as well as the beauty of Soornah-a, with whom he creates a powerful yet unnatural love.
But as Chris becomes a willing partner in the alien’s stated quest to better understand mankind, he comes to question that motive. Is there a hidden agenda? Is Chris being manipulated? Is he himself an experiment?
"Courteous to the Alien" takes us into Chris’s mind as he lives this whole experience. He surfs on what he perceives are majestic waves upon a vast, fantastic sea with which he becomes one. But in reality, is he only on a placid lake surrounded by illusions? Or worse, is he unwittingly being made to jump from puddle to puddle to fulfill a hidden agenda?
